FamilyDOC’s first branch in Manila City located in Juan Luna, Tondo. FamilyDOC, the country’s largest clinic chain, will soon open its 70th clinic in Earnshaw, Sampaloc, Manila.

The Philippines’ largest retail clinic chain, FamilyDOC, will soon open its 70th and biggest clinic to date in Earnshaw St., Sampaloc, Manila. FamilyDOC, a member of Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health), offers primary healthcare services, including consultations, diagnostics tests, and a pharmacy. This is the second branch in the City of Manila, following the opening of its Juan Luna, Tondo clinic last September.

AC Health President and CEO, Paolo F. Borromeo, said that FamilyDOC is eager to expand into more areas in central Metro Manila.

“We’ve been extremely encouraged by the positive feedback our patients, many of whom have become our regular customers, returning about 2 to 3 times in a year. This is a big improvement, considering that most Filipinos see a doctor only once every 2 years.  We’re excited to finally offer our services in the heart of Manila. The bigger format will allow us to accommodate more patients, while still maintaining the affordable, quality care that FamilyDOC stands for,” Borromeo added.

FamilyDOC General Manager, Paul Darroca, said that they are still on-track to reach their goal of 100 clinics by 2020. To date, FamilyDOC has served over 450,000 unique patients since it opened in December 2015.

“Our goal is to be the go-to primary healthcare provider for every Filipino. Since our first two clinics opened in December 2015, we’ve focused on growing our network because we know that there is a strong need for more accessible healthcare options in the community,” Darroca said.

In line with its expansion, Darroca said that FamilyDOC continues to actively recruit and hire physicians and allied health professionals who would like to practice primary care and work in the community.

At present, FamilyDOC has over 140 doctors who are completing their Family Medicine specialty under its accredited residency program, the largest program in the country. It also employs over 460 allied health professionals including nurses, pharmacists, rad techs, and med techs.

“I hope more doctors and allied health professionals consider a career in primary care, and join FamilyDOC. Working at FamilyDOC allows you to serve the community, while also having opportunities for growth and further training. In fact, many of our original doctors, pharmacists, and nurses are now part of our leadership team. We’re very fortunate to have them, and they have really been our champions for clinical quality, and excellent patient care,” he added.

FamilyDOC clinics are located in Laguna, Cavite, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Taguig, Pasig, Pateros, Quezon City, Marikina, Rizal, Caloocan, Valenzuela, and Manila.

Aside from offering consults, diagnostics, and medicines, FamilyDOC also caters to chronic patients, through its Diabetes Prevention and Diabetes Care Programs. These programs offer affordable packages, including unlimited consultations and discounted lab tests, for diabetics and high-risk patients.
